Things to do

Whether you’re in Delta, BC for a few hours or a few days, there’s no shortage of things to do and see.

Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen is consistently ranked as one of the top beaches in the Greater Vancouver Area: this family-friendly, sandy beach running alongside the shallow, warm waters of Boundary Bay, with a restaurant, washroom & shower facilities, baseball diamond, children’s playground and beach volleyball courts make this the perfect spot for a family day at the beach.

Visit the historic village of Ladner to experience Delta’s heritage and history in farming and fishing; visit the Delta Museum, locally-owned shops and restaurants, and the fisherman’s wharf. Head farther west, to Westham Island, and pick up local produce at farm stands and u-pick berry fields. Finish the day with a visit to the George C Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary.

Visit the social heart of North Delta for art galleries, local shopping and dining. Take advantage of the network of bicycling and walking trails in Watershed Park, and plan a visit to Burns Bog at the Delta Nature Reserve.
